What we solve
Anthology CampusNexus institutions need a secure way to verify applicant/student identity as part of digital admissions and enrollment—reducing fraud and ensuring the right person receives access to student services—without manual ID checks that slow onboarding. This integration uses CampusNexus workflows and REST APIs (OAuth-authenticated) to trigger 1Kosmos IAL2 identity proofing at key workflow stages, receive callback results, and write verified status/assurance level back to student profiles; it can also be initiated through Anthology Reach campaign automations to deliver proofing links during applicant communications.
Integration architecture
Anthology exposes a REST API through the CampusNexus Student Web API layer, authenticated with OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens. Anthology also maintains an open integration marketplace (Anthology Marketplace).
Touchpoint 1 — Admissions workflow integration CampusNexus has a configurable workflow engine. 1Kosmos registers as a workflow action type. When an applicant reaches the "Enrollment Complete" workflow stage:

Touchpoint 3 — Anthology Reach (CRM) integration Anthology Reach (formerly Talisma CRM) manages prospect and applicant communications. 1Kosmos can be triggered via Reach campaign automation when a prospect completes an application, sending a proofing link as part of the onboarding communication sequence.

CampusNexus REST API is well-documented. The primary path to market is Anthology Marketplace listing, which provides a pre-validated integration framework and access to the institution buyer network.
