What we solve
Blackbaud K-12 independent schools need a reliable way to verify the identity of students, parents, and staff during onboarding and before sensitive portal actions (tuition payments, large donations, billing disputes, account changes) without relying on easily spoofed credentials. This integration uses SKY API (OAuth) and SKY Webhooks to trigger 1Kosmos IAL2 identity proofing when constituents/users are created, supports staff verification alongside background-check workflows, and writes verification status back to Blackbaud records so schools can reduce fraud and strengthen trust for financial and administrative actions.
