This integration triggers 1Kosmos LiveID step-up from Helix change workflows via Helix iPaaS, captures a biometric approval event (match/liveness/confidence + event ID), and writes it back to the change record as an electronic signature to create a verifiable compliance audit trail and reduce change-approval fraud.

The SOX compliance use case is the primary differentiator. SOX requires that changes to financial systems include documented, auditable authorization from specifically identified individuals. A LiveID biometric event from a named employee, logged with a timestamp and confidence score, creates a cryptographically verifiable audit trail that password-based authorization cannot provide.
