What we solve
Jack Henry community banks and credit unions need higher-assurance identity verification for digital account opening (and step-up authentication for high-risk transactions like wires) to reduce new-account fraud and account takeover while satisfying CIP/BSA requirements. This integration embeds 1Kosmos BlockID Verify and LiveID into Banno/SilverLake/Symitar workflows via VIP-certified APIs and webhooks—triggering IAL2 proofing during applications, writing verified status back to member records, and enabling biometric step-up on high-value payments before releasing holds or authorizing transactions.
Platform identity landscape
Jack Henry serves 1,600+ community banks (SilverLake) and 900+ credit unions (Symitar). The Jack Henry Digital (Banno) suite provides digital banking and is the consumer-facing layer where account opening IDV matters most. Jack Henry's Vendor Integration Program (VIP) certifies third-party integrations. The Jack Henry Open API platform provides REST endpoints following the OFX standard. Jack Henry integrates with 200+ third-party vendors through its open API program.
Jack Henry's existing IDV partnerships include Mitek and Socure. Neither offers the LiveID biometric binding or FIDO2 passwordless credentials that BlockID Verify provides. Community banks on Jack Henry platforms are acutely sensitive to account takeover and new account fraud — areas where LiveID biometric authentication creates a durable fraud barrier.
