What we solve
Skyward Qmlativ districts need a secure, automated way to verify staff identity for onboarding and access to student information systems—without manual checks—while supporting both real-time events and bulk start-of-year campaigns. This integration uses Qmlativ’s OAuth 2.0–protected REST APIs plus event webhooks to trigger 1Kosmos identity proofing when staff records are created, then writes IAL2 verification status back to staff custom fields; it can also ingest OneRoster 1.1 exports (e.g., users.csv) to launch bulk proofing for entire staff cohorts.

Qmlativ's REST API is clean and modern. Legacy SMS/Educator Access+ schools require SFTP file-based approaches, increasing complexity.
