What we solve
UKG customers with frontline, high-churn workforces need a scalable way to verify new hires and reliably confirm rehired workers are the same individuals who were originally I-9 verified—reducing fraud, duplicate identities, and manual HR effort. This integration triggers 1Kosmos BlockID Verify and LiveID from UKG new-hire and rehire webhook events, writes assurance status back to UKG custom fields via the UKG REST API, and enables biometric step-up at rehire to bind identity over time.

Both platforms expose the UKG Pro Developer Hub REST API with endpoints for Employee (/personnel/v1/employees), Hire (/recruiting/v1/hires), and Custom Fields. UKG Pro integrates with over 350 third-party applications through its UKG Marketplace.
Frontline workforce verification is UKG's most differentiated IDV use case. Warehouse workers, healthcare aides, and retail staff frequently cycle on/off active status, creating persistent rehire verification problems. Without biometric binding, employers cannot confirm a rehired worker is the same person who was originally I-9 verified.
